Add The Thread Creators Small Avatar On The Thread List
Tested latest Browsers Chrome - Firefox - Internet Explorer 11 - Opera Win 10 New browser Microsoft Edge Screenshot My Forum Go Admin > Structure > Layout Templates > Board > Thread List
Look For <span class="link target">$[thread]</span>
And Replace That With The Code below
So It Will Look Like
<span class="link target"><div style="float: left; width: 40px;">$[thread.created_by_user.avatar_quote]</div> $[thread]</span>
You can always click to preview it before making any changes to your template

Nice work, Steve I went one further on my forum, adding it to the private message list template, as the code is almost exactly identical You just need to use the variables $[conversation.created_by.avatar_quote] and $[conversation]

I even added extra frippery, like rounded avatar corners, and a hover/unhovered CSS effect I managed to get the text vertically centered, too, but it's a bit of extra work down in the CSS.

Thanks to Azy Yes it works well I just went to layout templates conversation listLook for $[conversation] on conversation list Remove that and replace it with the code below
<span class="link target"><div style="float: left; width: 40px;"> $[conversation.created_by.avatar_quote] </div> $[conversation]</span>
If want the avatar to show a little larger
Replace $[conversation.created_by.avatar_quote]
With $[conversation.created_by.avatar_small]
