I will no longer be expending my time to debug problems with users' mini-profile HTML, CSS, and Javascript within this plugin as that's not what this thread is for. If one of the variables offered by the plugin isn't functioning correctly or the plugin itself isn't working I will take a look, but helping with designing the mini-profiles themselves or teaching the web languages used to design the mini-profiles is not part of my responsibility as plugin author.
There are a multitude of resources available from a quick search online to teach you all three of the languages used within the plugin, and W3Schools lists every single HTML tag, CSS property, and Javascript method available on each respective language along with describing what they do in excessive detail. The official jQuery site also provides each function that can be used with their library.

The plugin has a help window that shows up on your forum right after you install it that explains everything you need to know about how to build a mini-profile except for teaching the languages used to build one as there's online resources to teach those.

Pretty much. I edited the first post of the thread after I posted that a couple days ago to include the two sites I reference the most often whenever I forget how to do anything in HTML, CSS, or Javascript.

So it's gonna be a learning experience for me,lol. Well I'm going to try and design a mini profile.

ok so Brian I just installed the plugin, I followed the instructions to get to the example mini profiles and all I get is a little caution sign next to my name saying an error ocurred. I added the <!-- Custom Mini-Profile Plugin Data --> <div class="mp-info-holder" style="display: none;"> to my layout template and that fixed the issue I was having before but now it says that " example 1 " is not configured in the custom mini-profile plugin settings. EDIT: sometimes the plugin works when I go to the preview changes on my layout template, it changes the mini profile but just messes it up with a wall of text, yet when I go to the live forum I just get error messages. I understand you cannot help me with creating the mini-profile itself however can you check on something for me. can you check my layout template for the current default theme and let me know if I place this in the right spot. <!-- Custom Mini-Profile Plugin Data --> <div class="mp-info-holder" style="display: none;"> and can you check the custom profile fields i created in the admin panel and let me know if I did those right. I understand I'll have to do the mini-profile on my own, I just hope you can check on these two things for me though.

Brian: I made an MP for one of my members, but she reported to me that she couldn't see it on the theme that she was using (the same of the theme is Chakra Theme.) When I was testing the plugins/the MPs out on the test theme that I have ( TestTheme1), it was working as it should, but the other themes give the error message of the MP themes not being in the dropdown for some reason and they were all there since it works on the one theme. The error message is as follows: "Error 2: "Alan Vende's Double Mini-Profile" not found in Custom Mini-Profile Creator Plugin Settings. To remove this message, you may either choose a different mini-profile theme in this user's profile, remove this theme entirely from the custom field dropdown, or configure it in the Custom Mini-Profile Creator plugin settings." I had configured them all in the Plugin itself and have enabled the plugin on all themes, so I'm not sure why the error message is happening. Could you please take a look? (I have them all coded correctly, they're just not showing.) I went through and made sure that the code that needs to be there is there on all of the themes, and that's not the error message that I was getting, so I assume that it knows it's there? Thanks!

I changed them to the best of my ability and it still has the error message. I didn't see any changes to the custom fields in the mini-profile template. I've made these changes for you on that theme and each mini-profile that has a matching entry in the plugin is now properly working on it.

I thought you meant to change the way that I had the custom mini-profile fields written in the plugin. I had changed them to what was in the post that you linked. Thanks, Brian!

Brian: For some reason, the Custom MP Plugin isn't working on my Samhain, Chakra, New PP, ProBoards Default, or Red Velvet themes. It's the same error message as what was showing before. I will say that I haven't changed anything in there since you went in and fixed the problem. I'm not sure what problem is going on now, though.
