I plan on updating most of my plugins to v6 as long as the plugin doesn't provide the exact same functionality as a new feature that already exists in v6.

The background image is controlled by line 5 of that example's CSS. It looks like you substituted the image URL correctly, but you supplied a link to a web page that displays the image rather than the link to the image itself. An image URL usually ends in a file extension (.jpg, .png, .gif, etc.). You can find the correct URL in the BBCode field of the "Embed codes" section of their gallery page.

As mentioned in the example's Javascript section you need to link an avatar in your profile settings that meets the specified dimensions.

// 170x325 pixels in your profile it'll be
// used as the background of this mini-profile.

Uploaded avatars get resized to fit 150x150 causing them to not meet this size. You must link an avatar for it to be used in the mini-profile.

Omg thank you so much i'm lowkey cringing at how dumb of me that was LOL ! I knew I had to resize it I just didn't know why it wasn't working thank you so much your so awesome I appreciate the quick responses ! <333 Also sense my avatar is now my background then how would I apply my character on top of it with the same sliding effect yours has ?

A whole bunch of difficult to maintain JavaScript and math goes into making that effect work. I'd recommend asking for a less messy code to accomplish it in the Coding Help board.

Instructions on how to operate the plugin are included in the plugin itself. Turn on the Show Help option in its settings and a help window will appear on the forum.

Hey so I made a thread and I asked there and they linked me back to this thread sense it has to do with this specific plug-in . I don’t mind getting the messy code . If it breaks in the long run in need for an update I’ll just figure it out .

My plugin isn't required for you to customize the forum's base mini-profile. I'd recommend posting in the Templates board if you need help designing it.

V6 isn't officially rolled out yet -- I would have 0 expectations for any currently-available plugin to work on the beta test, especially since there's no telling what might change between now and the official release (whenever that may be)

I'll update it eventually, but since this one falls under the fun cosmetic umbrella it's lower priority than others. Like I don't think anyone absolutely needs this plugin to keep their forum running the same as it has been when using v6, so I'm not in a hurry to update it compared to something like the NPC Profiles plugin which some forums might lean heavily on.
