follow button in mini profile

hello coder people

hopefully this should be simple, i just want a follow button in the mp but not one that just takes me to the profile page for me to press another button, one which follows instantly.

The one in the members profile page isnt needed, so i thought it would be an easy swap ..... hopefully.

like this.
im willing to do some work and learn along the way for this  thank u.

edit : im not actually wanting this image, its just an example.

its the yellow 'g' in a circle.

so you want the follow button be next to the display name?

i just tested it on my test board and the button doesn't seem to do anything when clicked.

As i have already stated, 

i added the follow button next to the name on my test board and it did nothing when clicking on it:

iybtest.proboards.com/post/378

register on my test board if you want and try it.

The "Follow" button currently only works on the profile page, since that template contains some necessary information for the function. Any "Follow" button on the mini-profile will have to link to the profile of the person you want to follow -- a plugin or code could be developed to show a pop-up asking if the person wants to follow the user if they came to the page via a mini-profile "Follow" button.

It would have to be developed by a member of the community that had the time to put it together -- you can request it in the coding & development section if you want
