Hi, Todge. It looks like in some cases a user's post background is being changed to that of a user who liked their post or a user who was tagged in their post, likely because [class^='user-'] is being used to find user IDs within the entire post row indiscriminately versus checking only the mini-profile. This was reported in the following thread: support.proboards.com/thread/604087/background-posts-malfunctioning

(There seems to be some issues with it at the moment). kittyvenus, can you please try version 0.0.5. Hopefully that should fix your issues.

I see you are running version 0.0.35. Could you please update it to version 0.0.5, that you can get either from the library or the direct link in the first post of this thread. The let me know if the issue still exists.

Todge, I see this plugin adds an image to a post's background. Is there an option, or is there another plugin, that changes just text and background color, such as this: Note that the top half of the image has a white background (default is also black text). The bottom half, one of my posts, automatically gets the light green background and the dark green text. The image is from a different platform where I am a Moderator (all Moderators there get that coloring of text and background automatically with their posts) and I was wondering if the same thing is possible with a ProBoards plugin. If this type of plugin does not yet exist, I would be happy to create a thread in the Request a Plugin board for it. I wanted to ask you first, as this plugin seems to be basically what I am looking for, except just having a configurable background color and text color rather than a background image. Thank you for your time.

Administrators could have a different text and background color set, and so forth. Should I make a request in the Request a Plugin board?

I can add an option to chose a background colour instead of an image without too much trouble, but tying that into certain groups would be more involved. You can already restrict the plugin so that only members from certain groups will be able to use it, but that will still mean that all of your moderators would be able to have separate colours etc., rather than restricting them all to the colours that you chose.

Given that ability restriction, is it then possible to have multiple copies of the plugin installed? For example, one copy to set the colors for the Moderators (allow only Moderators to use that copy), a different copy for Administrator colors, and so forth?

Is it possible to add the option to change the post background to a solid color using that color's hex number?
