Forum URL: www.loveevertonforum.comI've noticed today that the forum isn't loading. All I'm getting is the background page, and after about 30 seconds to a minute, the forum then appears. Wondering if a plug-in has failed, but this has never happened before so could somebody possibly take a look please? Appreciated.

I've just put Ad-block 'back on' and the forum is now loading again, so is it fair to say that one of your adverts is causing the problem on our forum?

Hi mate Sorry for the delayed reply, got stuck into an issue and time flew by. How are things looking for you now? They're just as bad Craig. With Adblock it stops, but without it, there are huge delays. I tested all the plugins and they appeared ok, and nothing obvious on the coding side of things, so because of the Adblock cure I can only put it down to a problem with your adverts? Really bad timing for me as well, as the forum is getting judged at present for the Football Blog Awards final, so need it to be running as should.

PS. I don't think 'any' adverts are loading at all, with or without Adblock.

Hello,
Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. Could you hit F12 while in your browser to open up the developer console on your browser and then click the "Network" tab. Then reload any of your forum pages and let me know (with a screenshot preferably) what is taking the longest to load on the page or is failing to ever load completely on the page?

I'm on 100mb broadband and taking 20 seconds at least to load each page. Grey box at bottom of screen says 'connecting'. When the page loads, there are no adverts (woohoo) but the problem has caused us to be empty for a long time as nobody logging in.

I'm just going to add in here that the only way one of my admins has been able to log in for about the last 2 weeks is with adblock enabled for the same reason- she said the forum was so dreadfully slow that she just gave up most evenings.
I've linked her this thread and if it happens again I'll have her grab the screenshot.

It's the same for me - this support forum is working normally but the Mustardland boards are extremely slow; the top section of the page appears, and then it can take up to a couple of minutes for anything else to load. This happens every time I want to read a new post, or send a post. It happens on my Kindle Fire tablet and also on my (new, fast, Win 10) PC. Everything else is running fine, it's specific to the ProBoards Forums.

Sorry i don't know how to screenshot, but just tried what you have ask Micheal and it is the marketing line that is taking the longest to load.
When the page finally loads no adverts are showing up at all on any of the forums i have tried.

You'll need to refresh the page while the Network tab is open to populate it. Also ensure that the green play arrow is pressed beforehand to indicate that it's recording network traffic.

OK Brian, thanks for the tip.
Just done it again and there are loads of entries, with just one in red. Is that the one you need to know about ?

OK Brian, thanks for the tip. Just done it again and there are loads of entries, with just one in red. Is that the one you need to know about ? GH Yeah lets start there, or with anything else that is "still loading" (as in its still loading minutes after page refresh)!
