Banner and Icons request please

Hey there, I am looking for some help as I am currently designing and building my proboard forum for an efed which is free at this link destinyfc.proboards.com/ . I am looking for someone to kindly take some time to make a main banner for the top of the site and to help make the logo along with making that logo to replace the icon image and folder image.

I am looking for a shaded white sports club type circular logo if possible. Could someone make me a logo where they have the writing at the top say "DESTINY" and at the bottom have "MMXV" in black writing with this font www.dafont.com/avengeance.font?text=DESTINY

I am looking for this image to be shrunk to be in the middle as the main emblem of the logo



If this could get made into two sizes, one for the banner and one to replace the icon (Favicon) and the folder pictures that'd be awesome!

I'd also like to get the banner made with the logo and a white lightning storm background with writing in black underneath the logo to say "THIS IS DESTINY" in this font if possible www.dafont.com/coalition.font?text=THIS+IS+DESTINY

That's good because the X's you had there before looked like H's in that font style you picked. I started working on just the logo part but I gave it up because I currently have a crappy graphics program on my laptop and I just don't have the tools to make it look professional, however, I am only posting because you may want to rethink that circle (all the empty space on the sides) and no matter where I put that slanted text, it looks off, but maybe it is just me. Here is the one I started and gave up on with the corrected roman numerals so you can see what I mean.



If you are o.k. still with the text style and circle that's fine and if no one else wants to jump in and you are desperate, I'll do this for you crappy graphics program and all but it will have to wait because I have a coding project I need to finish first.

Do you think it'd reduce space with adding an inner circle (with pic in it and wordings on outer circle) with both circles getting shading?

That would be much better and probably look pretty nice. Unfortunately, I can't do it as I mentioned in my other post, I currently do not have my good graphics program installed on my lap top and actually can't install it without some fuss & a little money although I am looking for a way.  Keep bumping this every 24 hours to let folks know you still want this and hopefully someone will be interested in doing it.

I MAY have something for you. I am only having trouble adding the font to my GIMP directory for use and my internet is too slow right now to show you what I have in mind.

But what do you think about the text wrapping around the icon? It could fill in the space a bit more for you.

As for using it for icons and the favicon, I think you may look at something more simple in the favicon size since a lot is lost at 16 by 16 px. Still, I put even that together but I can't access the favicon generator to see how it looks. Hopefully tonight after work or tomorrow, my internet will allow me to upload some things for you to check out.

As long as it says the logo and year clearly in numerals I'm happy with any suggestions!

Okay then. Here are some rough ideas.

For the icon to maybe turn to favicon. (I want to get a better look at your forum first before trying for the board icons (never fully loaded yet for me, sorry).)

And then for the Logo, here is a rough idea. I wanted to give you an idea of what wrapping the text around the image might look like. I need to fix the placement of the text still and figure how to add your desired text to my directory. I am still not certain of the size you are looking for though from this.

For the forum banner, would you want this logo incorporated as a whole with the lightning storm or in parts?

Just trying to get better ideas myself while I play around.

Love the head as the favicon. If the font for the logo could be close to the dafont one then we have a winner!

Hmmm... I am having a hard time getting my program to accept any new font at the moment (still learning how to do it right I guess), so unfortunately, this is taking longer than I would like. I will keep you posted and show you what I can when I can play more. I am sorry for the delay.

For now, feel free to use the icon image I've already linked and use the favicon generator to create your favicon. Unfortunately, while I've already turned it into a favicon, I cannot upload it to and then link you to Imgur due to the generated file type.

I've done it! GIMP has finally accepted the new font. As such, I was able to work more on your logo. And yes... I played a bit.

So without further ado, here are some options.

I'm not sure what to do with the empty space in these but once I know which you like best, I can continue work on both the banner and maybe finding how to fill the gaps. Plus then I can get you better quality images than these here.

I know you wanted a circular logo by as I was playing with text placement, I thought to play with the logo shape too just in case something worked.

So! What do you think? Which do you like best? Also I was wondering what sizes you were hoping for on this logo, the banner, and the board icons.
