News to display one random line (rather than rotate)

It's exactly what I was looking for, Thanks so much for making it. I never used the news feed partly because it couldn't alternate like your plugin does.

Sorry, guys, I'm still here. I'm still interested in this. I am currently using a javascript random generator, so I'll try this out and report back.

EDIT: Alright, tried it out. So far it's only showing up as text and not in the news feed. Is this intentional? If so, then it's working fine, showing one random line from several each page load. Is there a good way to get it into some sort of container?

Its supposed to be like that. I would like to see a container myself. Lynx

Yes, that is intentional. I wasn't trying to replace to news feeder with this. You can always disable your news feeder from your admin panel if you don't want both there.

What kind of container are you looking for? Something like the Info & Stats that has a title bar, or just something simple, like a border and padding for the text? I'm gone this weekend, but should be back on Monday.

My original idea is that this functioned just like the news feed, but instead of it being a predictable and automatic scrolling text series, it would be random and would only change if you pressed the arrow.
