If the trophies have not been synced, and they switch to a different browser, then yes, they will lose them.

Due to restrictions on how I can update the key (ProBoards limitation), I need to store it in the browsers storage and then update the key when the user does something such as post a message.

Is it possible to reduce the "storage time" for trophies and levels. A lot of us can log in to our forums with different browsers at work during breaks, but if the storage time for earned levels + trophies is 12 hours or more we'll have our levels reduced + trophies deleted on a daily basis.

One of our members says he was demoted 3 levels and always uses the same iPod + browser. Could something else be causing these demotions?

You aren't understanding the problem (and neither is other people in other threads).

If the user does not initiate an action that is within ProBoards key guidelines relating to updating the key, then that's it, nothing I can do. Doesn't matter what I change. We are restricted on the way we update keys, it's as simple as that.

There is no fix for this. As I have said, it's a limitation on how we (plugin developers) are allowed to update a key (which stores the trophy data). When a trophy pops, it's stored locally in the browsers storage (persistent). When the user performs an action we can use to update the key (i.e posting), then the data is moved over (aka synced).

I don't know how to make it any clearer to people.

or you could prob send yourself a pm and that should do it too.

If people go that route, then they may as well manually sync them (i.e Yootil icon?). The old version of this mod worked like that, but I didn't like it so didn't implement it. If people are jumping browsers, then it may be needed.

Im going to add support for my Event on Post with trophies. If I run a custom pack after the monetary system with some changed naming from a copy in your github thats it right? Besides programming a callback.

Be easier to see your code then me saying yes. Send me the code if you have issues, but it's quite simple, just not really documented right now as I didn't think anyone would really use it.

Just remember that for it to register the trophies, it needs to be above the plugin, as you have to add them to a global object that the plugin picks up.

Thanks for the tip. That was part of my problem. 
Few questions
1. Do I need an init and method key in the object?  Nope
2. Can I use this.show_notification(trophy); outside of the callback? Yep
 I really enjoy your plugins.

I like the idea for everything except for image links.
I understand that it saves key space and allows on the fly image changes which is desirable and people can just add their own images and there is really no room to complain but: it would be nice if there was an option for hyperlinks.

Todge's Award System can do this but you'll need to add your own awards.

So I've revived this site some days ago and I've been trying to install some plugins I have in another site of mine.



So I installed it and the trophies people win are showing on the mini profiles however and when I go to their profiles no information is there about the trophies they've won and the level they reached. I know this is possible cause on my other site this worked without a problem but on this one no information is showing when people go see their profiles.



Maybe something from my old skin overriding it since I have the option 'show information on profile' activated?



A little help would be appreciated.
