I do understand that a notification would be a good inclusion, but I don't like the idea of using a second key in this plugin yet, especially as we do not know how far away V6 is. Besides, there's a good chance the plugin will have to be changed in some way for it to work with V6, so I'm a little unwilling to make any drastic changes to a plugin of this length that will only need changing again in a few months time.

I split up the categories so users have more control over them, hopefully this will be enough for him. 
Now LOLs will have their own option to be hidden, separate from general Forum Likes.
I too haven't much motivation to make drastic changes on plugins for a system I expected beta for a year ago.
Any ETA on v6 beta or alpha lol?

No ETA that I'm aware of. I'm sure they'll let us know as soon as there is one.

Is there a way to generate notifications to members when, via this plugin, someone lols at a post they made? We have notifications for replies and likes, so a member is wondering if we could do it for the lol feature as well.

Todge doesn't plan on adding built-in notifications for this plugin any time soon. After v6 it is possible though

The idea is simple, if someone other than you, Lol's on your post, a notification will appear in the Interests Bar.  (if lol on post is installed)
If you can not see the interests bar due to a custom theme you can always place it somewhere else with the custom html that is provided.
If it is not working as it should, just let me know.

Not with the plugin the way it is, though it should be possible with a footer code.

Where are you wanting to move them?

I'm using a custom theme called Breathe by elli and when a post is both "laughed at" and liked the laugh plugin dialog is displaced.

I made a diagram because I don't think I am explaining myself right, so maybe this shall help!

Try adding this to your forums' style sheet.

.lols { position: relative; top: 5px; }

Change the red number to suit.

That will displace the LOL messages by the amount you need.. Or if you want to move the messages to a new place entirely, that will need a small(ish) modification to the code, which I can do if need be.

I have installed a plugin Individual Post plugin and when I did that I couldn't see my plugin clearly on my computer.

Here is copies of my question to Brian.

Brian I have Individual Post Subjects 1.0.2 installed. It is working for everyone but me. This is what it looks like on my forum using my computer. I am using Google Chrome and have cleaned the cache out.

toetapping: The Post LOL plugin you have installed seems to be changing the line height of that area to 0px which is causing its contents to be smushed together. You may want to contact the author of that plugin to ask why their plugin does that to the header of each post.
