Imgur cracking down on RP hosting

Not that I've seen, Mixed . I've never used it as it causes issues because it does do what it says it does ~ adds the scrambler prefix.

I keep my albums all marked to "private". That's all the privacy I need. You can view my images where they are linked, but you can't view my entire album, just the linked images.

That would be your best bet, Mixed . A private album doesn't prevent your linked images from being viewed.

I ended up creating my own image host, and we're in the process of moving our images just in case. It's a bit tedious, but, we figured out a way and added mass upload and transfer of imgur galleries/albums. Helped out a lot.

This is an old thread and shouldn't have been revived.

But that said, you can no longer host on Photobucket unless you pay them $400 a year.

And since TinyPic is owned by Photobucket, I'd be very careful about using them. Plus, they are notorious for changing image URLS or removing them.

I just looked at Photobucket's prices out of curiosity after reading your post because I completely forgot they had a paid option.

I think at those price points you might as well purchase a domain with hosting. You not only get to upload images but you get all the perks of owning a domain like email addresses and hosting all manner of files. Fun stuff.

Call me werid but I never liked the back end design of email hosting unless it's changed. Been years since I had my own domain though

I personally use ImgBox for all my site images. They're pretty awesome!
