css question

Given the majority of mistakes are simple CSS errors, I would suggest you look up some CSS tutorials to get familiar with how CSS works.

I can only find background image for title bar and i have done research on background color and I get it but for some reason when I use background color nothing happens when I refer to the title bar.So may be theres something more adding to the title bar.

You are using title_bar as the class when it is title-bar
This code works fine for me:


$('.title-bar').css('background-color','green');

You are using title_bar as the class when it is title-bar
This code works fine for me:


$('.title-bar').css('background-color','green');


I tried it again but it didn't work it actually made everything else that was before it not work.

I did as instructed but $('.title-bar')css('background-color','#'+barc+''); should work.I add it in to my code and my wrapper code doesn't show up but when I delete that title-bar line the wrapper shows up.

That's because you have issues in other areas of your code, and they all come back to what Chris already explained to you in regards to concatenation.

While we could correct your code, it's much better you understand what the problem is and how to fix it. You need to go read the very basics.

And yes I appreciate you not giving me the code. I don't want it I'll never learn if somebody does it for me. I'll look at the links.
