I made an advertisement post about my forum on Topix in the appropriate category and so far it hasn't been taken down. My forum has been online for a few days but doesn't have any members yet though.

Be patient, advertise a lot, like I previously said. Eventually you'll get members. It takes a WHILE. Try submitting your forum to a site, or affiliate with other forums.

I’m having trouble myself getting members I learned personal invites are a no no and to keep things simple. Not sure what I’m doing wrong

I recommend maintaining and updating your forum.
Advertising and affiliations work for some people.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong I hope you will not continue thinking that you are doing something wrong. Not all forums get members. My general forum is one of those forums that does not get members that post. I just keep maintaining it. I am not an expert. But, I will guess that your genre: cartoons may benefit from being advertised in a place where others are interested in cartoons. |
