Hi, @joecool111.
You have closing </a> tags after several of the <img> tags in your template. If there's no opening <a> tag to go with any that are colored red then they can be removed.
Your image on line 12 isn't contained within a <th> element. Any elements you place within a table must be within a <th> or <td> element.

what do you mean by line 12 ? iv removed the </a> tag and it works. do i have to put <th> in there ?
<tr> <img src="http://i1268./jj577/ted_holmes1/LVpvpoE_zps2beejt7d.jpg" /> <th colspan="2"><img src="http://i1268./jj577/ted_holmes1/ggVhbVi_zpskwkarjom.png" /></th> </tr>

The line in red above is inside a <tr> element, which isn't allowed in HTML. Only <th> and <td> elements can be inside of <tr> elements. You need to move it down to the next line so that it's inside the same <th> element as the image after it.

Your web browser attempts to automatically correct it so that the page can display.

Your web browser attempts to automatically correct it so that the page can display. ok, but its good to fix it though ? i cant understand why it needs fixing if the browser does it for you.

There are multiple reasons mostly related to good programming practice, future-proofing your page, and differences between browsers. validator.w3.org/docs/why.html
