Ever since I added my events, this pluggin has taken to adding event boxes to the bottom of every post I make on my forum, regardless of whether that post has generated a random event or is set to have no events. It's pretty off-putting appearance wise, so I was wondering if there's a way to fix things so that the event box only shows up in posts when an event's been produced (or at the very least get it so that the box is no longer showing up outside of my roleplay boards).

At this point I've tried clearing/retyping all of the events in the plugin, setting all non-event boards to 100% on the 'percentage of nothing happening' page, deleting and clearing the key data, and, more recently, installing your updated key. Nothing seems to work except keeping the plugin disabled, which obviously defeats the purpose of having it. The only other time this problem didn't come up was during my initial 'testing' of the plugin, when I only added one item so I could see how the plugin worked. I'm not sure what's gone wrong between then and now, but I'd be very grateful if you could help!

I'm sorry you are having this problem. I double checked my source code and found that the chance of nothing appearing was not being caught by my you have no events filter. My filter was: if(this.keySingle.html!=''). Which is correct however I was checking for it too late in the game and now it stops the subroutine EARLIER so that it won't give you the empty box. My apologies but it probably was invalidated several versions ago and I didn't notice. You can download version 1-4-2 from the main page or from plugins when it is approved. I also want to take note that your troubleshooting was very helpful and I appreciate the steps you took as an admin to narrow down possible problems so that I could quickly diagnose and solve the problem.

Thanks for looking into this (and getting a fix for it so quickly)! I’ve downloaded the new version and can confirm that the empty boxes no longer appear – and it looks like the existing empty boxes have been removed, too!

It’s also great to hear that the troubleshooting I did helped you find the fix a little quicker

Hi, I was wondering if there's any way to change the size and color of the boxes that appear under someone's post? Mine are huge and white and kind of break the page. Thanks!

They should have their own class names if you know anyone that does CSS. Ideally it should be available in the plugin.

I'm an Admin of this same site. I'm looking into it now and everything I've tried doesn't work as far as changing the appearance of the dialogue box. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

There isn't anything about this in the plug-in's settings, which is disappointing since it's stark white and that woul'dve simplified things a bit. 



I went into Google Chrome's inspect and got the class names to change it's appearance, and much to my dismay, that doesn't seem to do the trick either. I've saved & looked on the site itself (just in case the preview wasn't relaying the changes) and it's still the same, no differences. 



Is there something I'm missing?

You can install version 1-4-3 that has a new tab for the three colors you need

You can install version 1-4-3 that has a new tab for the three colors you need.
Colors wasn't built in for I don't remember why so here they are

So, HA. Update on this ^

Not sure if I "fixed" it, but I added some left-margin and "max-width" instead of the regular width coding there... and it actually listened and worked out ? LOL

I hope I don't find anything broken / wonky on our site later xD


An aesthetic customization tab, expanding beyond colors to width and the option to customize border width and radius, would be nice in the future though ^.^ For ease as well as those less skilled in digging through code and somehow doing the right things xD

We're seriously grateful that you took the extra step to add the colors part for us, though!

Hi, I'm hoping this hasn't been asked yet/has an answer hidden somewhere, but I was wondering how one can go about editting the actual size of the events once they've been posted?



What I'm hoping to do is have it so the event will take up the entire space of the event bar rather than just that small, narrow section that leaves the rest of it blank?
