Matt You've inserted the button in the "Thread" tab and not the "Post List" tab. Changing the location of <button type = "button" class = "speed-tag-button">SpeedTag!</button>should fix it for you!

I'm glad I found this. I was looking for a way to add a tag button in the mini profile and I adjusted this to do exactly that.
