Add Hide/Show Button to Category Title Bar (See Library)

Just want to clarify some things for myself and anyone using this and sorry if I"m being a pain in the you know what.

So are you saying that if you are NOT using the V5 News Fader Plugin then use the last new code you posted but the hide/show cannot be adjusted to the right? Because that is what I'm getting with the new last code. With 880 in there they aren't even even:

Increasing the max width to 960 evens them up but that is as far as they go to the right as seen here: (and I currently have the width at 1200)

Gosh, MSG, I love your help and always appreciate your input. I was just saying what you suggested, I tried and it didn't work as far as getting the hide/show to be on the far right. My shrug was because I'm so stupid about javascript.

Oh no please don't think in any way that I meant that at all. I just was working on it in a narrow focus and didn't read your comments very well. I'm A.D.D. and can only focus on one thing at a time in lot's of cases. Thank you so much for your ideas and comments and I hope I didn't offend you in any way.

Oh I'm sorry Tumbleweed I forgot to mention adjust the width and on my test forum it is at 1200px and I set the width in the code to 1200. so if you did the same I can't imagine why it's doing that? back to the drawing board. BTW could you set your forum width to 880 just to see if they move to the right with the code also set at 880? I also noted that your bottom two categories are correct. You've got something in your titles that is messing us up?

I will put a edit in the code to adjust the width accordingly.

So this is where I wasn't getting it. Setting my forum width to 1200px and the code to 1200px fixes it. So does setting each to 880px or whatever size you want. I didn't know that setting the forum width and code width to be the same was the trick to making it work. Whella, problems seems solved and your code is golden!

Also, john1960 , I was just wondering if you wanted a thread for this that is a clean slate without all our posts going back and forth. I can lock this and move it out of the library if you want so you can create a new thread. Up to you.

And by the way, MSG wasn't upset at you. It's hard to inject tone into a post and I'm afraid the way I worded things came across wrong. I love MSG and all the help he gives around here. I just need to pay attention to how my posts come across putting myself on the receiving end.

I'm not upset with either of you. I just seem better at finding where an issue may lie rather than coming up with a working solution. You're both fine - it's just my skills that suck.

Oh geez. You know, Tumbleweed - I hadn't even thought about how my words could have been interpreted. Now I see that someone could actually interpret that as meaning that I was suggesting that I was better at finding errors than you 2 were. I ::facepalmed:: when you pointed that out.
