HI guys, I was wondering if there was a plugin for a member to be able to reply to a thread via PM (private message). If not I would like to request that a plugin or code be made for this. Thank you.

How would you want them to reply? Via a link in the PM or a button on the page?

I was thinking of adding a button next to the "Reply" button, and from there on handling it like a normal private message. I will attach an image to show you what I mean. Thanks for your reply and interest .

Or yeah, even a button next to the quote button would work too.

Quoting a thread could be tricky as it could mean inserting HTML into the UBBC side of the editor, but I'll give it a go, if you can wait for me to clear my backlog.

Doesn't Eton the Powerful have a force preview mode code you could utilize for when you startup the PM page? Then maybe convert it? Chris !!!!!

This plugin is now in the local support library as Reply to Thread Via PMAll further updates and support issues will be handled in that threadThe quote could be URI encoded then added to the "Earl" as a query parameter so when the form loads Proboards would take care of inserting the predetermined text similar to how it is explained here and hereThe size of the resulting "Earl" should however be monitored [1] and localStorage used in cases of heavy lifting.
edit: Reply via PM.pbp

So you are saying if we uri encoded it the way proboards does quotes it would automatically insert it as a quote on the pm page?
