I'm going to die today. Binding in this weather is hell. My only top with an inbuilt binder (so I'm only wearing one layer not two) is black... urgh. It's already 17 degrees C and I have gardening to do. Fun! (Not the mowing the lawn type either!) I pity you Boy_Wonder working in heat like that, many moons ago in Australia I worked on the country roads board way in bushland and I had to wear a yellow a yellow coat and safety helmet and the temperature was 40/46c. It's 20c here at the moment and it will peek to 24c later, tonight should bring some relief (I hope) dropping to 18c with some rain showers so the met says.

I pity anyone working outside in extreme temperatures ... I honestly don't know how they do it.
We have a cool morning today and I think tomorrow as well ... but humidity comes back, ten fold, tomorrow ... not looking forward to it.

Cloudy and muggy and a horrible 17c at this time in the morning and they reckon it will peak at 21c later on in the day, horrible for me. 21? It was 32c (89f) when I went to work today....at 5pm. I then had to push some trolleys.

Cloudy with the sun peeking out now and then with light rain showers then heavy rain forecasted for later on and 20c, Liz has just said she heard some thunder......so did I and it's gone very dark outside. Bring on the thunder and lightning and the heavy rain, that will clear the humidity. Edit: It's lashing down outside now and thunder and lighting YEEEESSSSS, that will do me.

Summer doesn't agree with me. I have sunburn from Sunday, I've woken up with prickly heat, and an insect bite on my foot that I'm starting to get a bit concerned about. I don't mind heat when I'm on holiday in Spain and can just jump in a pool to cool off, but it sucks when it's this hot and you're just trying to get on with your normal routine.

Can't stand the heat especially if it goes over 30c then that will give me a migraine. The worse heat I ever experienced was in Australia when I was a young lad and working in the bush on the country roads board way back in the late 60's. I was a leading flag man which meant I had to stop traffic while they tarred the country roads. The temp then was around 45/49 c and I had to wear a yellow coat and safety helmet, I felt like a kipper frying in a pan of fat, phew.

It's kind of funny reading this thread to see how each person's perception of hot can be totally different. I guess it all depends on what you're used to.
Anyways, it's currently 86*F here (30*C) which to me is where it starts to get hot, at least when the humidity is high like it is today. I do love it though. It's perfect swimming weather! I'll take heat over snow any day!

It's 16c here but a lovely, beautiful cool breeze coming in the window and they reckon (met) it's going to get colder this week coming up, that will do me not my lovely Liz though as she hates cold weather lol. No, I shouldn't laugh as knowing Liz like I do she will put the central heating on and close the windows, heavy rain due later according to the met.
