It's gone very dark outside and Liz has just said she heard thunder in the distance so that will hit us shortly with lighting and rain I would imagine.

14C here at the moment, some rain but no more thunder yet and the sun has just had another peek out of the clouds. I can just imagine lying in bed tonight and then we will get thunder and lighting and Liz will freak out, she hates thunder and lighting lol.

You must have sent some of your weather to me lol ! Thanks !! It's still raining here and temp now is 18 c ... much much better then that heat !

No storms  here yet but other areas had lightning and flash floods, I hate storms but want something to clear humidity

It's 10°c here at the moment and the met says it will peak to around 13°c at 14.00 then drop some more. Only rained last night and no thunder which I was quite happy with as I mentioned before Liz does not like thunder and lighting and I would have got woken up in the middle of the night with her screaming in my ears and scaring the you know what out of me lol.

We've had a "cold" front (don't know why they call it that, since it's nowhere near cold) come in this evening along with rain.

The humidity has lifted and it's an open window night of 63^o. Perfect!

And they are saying we won't get much higher than 72 during the day. I'll suck up every wonderful second of that!

16 c here right now and won't get any warmer then 20 or 21 today, partly cloudy, some rain later... feels good ! and tmep will go to 17 c tomorrow yes !!

Unbelievable weather here. This morning it started off with very dark clouds with drops of rain when myself and Liz left the flat around 09.00 am to go and see our eldest grandsons (Connor 10) in a school project at the Maritime Museum.

We both looked out of the flat window before we left and decided to wear rain coats and boots as the met said there was going to be some heavy showers with storms. Around 10.00 am the sun suddenly appeared, the clouds moved away and we have had a beautiful sunny day after that, (it's 13c at the moment).

When we came out of the Maritime Museum we ended up taking our raincoats off and slinging them over our shoulders as we were both too hot lol. We enjoyed the time though seeing our grandson dressed up in an old Navy costume with his classmates and they all showed family members around the Maritime Museum.

Goodness, after a morning of t-storms, we're enjoying sunshine and 59^o.

It's wonderful! We won't even reach the predicted high of 70 since it's already 2:30 pm!

It's been a nice day here. Temp got to a maximum of 21 c (about 69 F) and right now is about 17 c (about 62.5 F)

It's still a beautiful mild summer evening here with a few clouds and a little bit of a breeze, 12c looking at the met map for Edinburgh.
