Requesting a Board Remodel

Hello there! I've come to the sad conclusion that coding boards isn't my forte, and might not be for a while yet. So as my last resort I'm coming to ProBoards in hopes that one of you coders could help me out and make a little dude's dream come true?

If possible, I'd like the remodel to look like this! ; i66.tinypic.com/2le56io.png

The category bar, which's black in the image, is gonna have an image and I didn't think I really needed to edit it into there since all I used was MS Paint, oops.
    I cannot guarantee that the colours will remain the same. The fonts definitely won't be!

I'm not looking for a theme, just a remodel for the board lists. c= And yes, the forum I will be using the remodel on is a ProBoards website.

I finally got the image to work by putting it in a post. The link took me to a blank tinypic page. Anyway, I'll see what I can do in the next couple days, if I can find a hour or so of spare time.

That's o.k. The image link works now. Just to be sure there aren't any details you didn't thing about, there is nothing on that sample for moderators of the boards to show so just want to make sure you don't want them. I might think of something else before I really dig into this.

All right! As far as the image goes, the only thing I see myself changing in the design in the tinypic is colours and fonts.

Just wanted you to know I started working on this but didn't have enough time to finish. I have a load of relatives coming in the morning from LA and then more later in the week from Maine so not sure when I can get at this again to finish. Right now I have a slight white line on the right that I can't find where it is coming from so that slowed me down and just on Chrome, IE and FF are fine.  But just in case you want to take a look so you know I haven't forgotten about you: putteraround2.proboards.com/
Still some things to work out like I don't like how some things are aligned, etc.

Thanks for being so understanding. My relatives are all heading out tomorrow   so I should be able to get on this then. But before I do anything, take a look again and tell me what you might want tweaked or different because what I don't like might not be the same as to what you don't like. No sense me fixing something that you think is fine but I'll tell you what bugs me. Notice on Cat 3 Board 1 and when the description is larger then the box aligns higher up. I can't decide if the top of the description box should always be even with the top of the icon box on the left or the icon remaining vertically aligned in the middle of the description. So I need your opinion on that. I also notice inconsistencies with the box on the far right not being aligned in the same spot on each board so when I get back to this, I'll be working on the last thing and why the heck I have that thin white border/line on the right on just Chrome <<<fixed.

I did end up messing with things for a few minutes and have it set now with what I think looks best when you consider some descriptions might be long (on several lines) while others are short, some boards may have no posts and end up like the first board I have on my test site. Some boards may not have sub-boards. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm so, so sorry it took so long for me to get back to you, Tumbleweed ! I, too, have been out and unfortunately, I didn't have access to ProBoards. Heck, I even left the day you posted that and I've been dead to the internet since. My phone doesn't like ProBoards very much and my laptop was out in the shop so, had to wait until I got home to my desktop computer to check this razzle-dazzle out. 

I'm, personally, totally okay with the description box leveling with the top of the new/old icon box. All in all, I'm really still wholly satisfied with the recent product I saw in June. The only real fixes and changes I'll be doing is in the colour scheme and fonts - and, given, the width since my forum has all these fancy side tables and wrapper borders and all that fun stuff. 

If it's any information worth noting, I am gonna be using  new/old icons that I hope will be circular. I know the code to incarnate if that can't be done, but if you think that could be done easily, please go right on ahead! I think my default size was 80x80? Yes, it was, oop. [I didn't have to go check Photoshop, what, haha--sweats]

If you think there's anything that can be done to improve the boards on your personal behalf, be my guest. I've never had an exquisite eye for keeping things sharp-looking.

No problem about getting back to me. And now I need to apologize to you. I somehow missed that you tagged me.

I'm a bit lost about what your saying about the icons. I'll be happy to do whatever it is but I'm just not getting what that is except they will be 80x80 which I just put on my test site and that looks big but they work o.k. and they are round so if you add your own round ones then we are set but I'm just lost at what you are asking. Sorry.

Also could you tell me the width of your site or post the link to your site so I can take a look or pm it to me if you don't want it public yet. Since you have side tables that means your width is much more narrow than my test site and I just want to make sure everything looks good at the width you have. (It seems to flow well if I shrink my screen size as well as test the various screen sizes and some mobile, that I can see on Screenfly)   I'll probably need to see it anyway once you install this as from doing past templates, there will likely be something that needs tweaked. 

If you just answer the above I can hand over the code and instructions but you may want to take one last look (link in prev. post) because changing something now before you put it on your site would be easier. I did test using a very long subject line and wondering what you think (In the 'Hick Up' board). Muchas gracias.
