I'm trying to make an external plugins for a site of mine making it easier to search, and quicker, cause at the time that you need to search for something (the board that is to be searched in is protected and you need to log in) will take a while, as you need to be fast with what the job entitles. So I wanted to develop a platform where I can log in with a guest account I've made using the API or maybe a cURL connection, and be able to retrieve the results from that page. The main thing I'm asking is how does the ProBoards system manage their logins? Does it take in two post requests and output a result on the login page? If so what are the POST names? Thanks.

The API has nothing to support user authentication and as for cURL, I've found info that this might be possible [1] even over SSL although I am not sure how such use of non-shareable user data fits into the TOS, someone with an authoritative knowledge of the backend and what is allowed would probably have to answer ( Tim Camara ).

Unfortunately that ability is not supported at this time, and runs counter to the Terms of Service, since it would interfere with the display of ads.
