So Robert's Wife Has Joined the Forum...

Most of the OGs on here haven't been updated, but your little Mormon Robert got hitched.  And well, I'm his Libertarian, somehow LDS and overly-passionate-about-debates-that-really-shouldn't-be-debates-anymore wife.  As any regular Mormon wife, I have hordes of yarn, am growing plants in every window of our tiny Idaho apartment, and enjoy harassing my husband into cleaning the cat's litter box.  I hope to not piss people off here (hope being the operative word.) and maybe actually make friends. Or at least understand all the in-jokes my husband makes constantly.  Any questions y'all have for me?

Please be sure to give Patrick his well deserved coffee, try some recipes from our master chef Seppy, pay respects to FIRES08, and take everything Avtar says with three grains of salt, two shakes of pepper and half a cup of water.

I hope you enjoy this community as much as the community has had to deal with me over these past many years.

Welcome, Amanda! So glad to have you with us. I've enjoyed reading Robyn over the years so I'm sure I'll enjoy your perspective just as much. Look forward to posting with you.

Welcome!

Robert's a great long time member here. His time can be divided into a few eras:

1- the everything Millsberry era. I don't even remember what Millsberry is anymore, a game maybe? I don't think this lasted more than a year.

2- then came the everything is a religious fight era. This era centered around 2008- 2011ish. GT had a lot of political and religious threads back in the day. But, Robert seemed to always make other threads into religious arguments. GT was a lot more prone to stuff like that back in the day, so Robert is hardly alone in that.

3- then came the becoming an adult era. Computer stuff, graduating high school, thinking about college. Then his mission/service trip.

4- there was a nearly two year gap and then Robert was back, a lot less active but a lot more mellow. Occasional updates and such and more adulting. and here we are, somewhere between epoch 4 and 5.

questions. hmm. so, how did Robert introduce you to this place? and how did you guys meet?
