It snowed yesterday and it was excitingly beautiful, although short lived the frigid cold windy air is still here which is fine I just love winter, there is still snow in the near future for here.  |

I don't even look at the temperature anymore since Wisconsin only has two seasons: Winter and Road Construction. These two seasons are also known as Cold and Not So Cold.

I am curious how other people stay warm.
I always put on a few layers of socks with my slippers on, tuck my trousers into my socks, wear shirt, jumper and dressing gown, but am always still freezing. I have a hot water bottle I use, but that takes forever to fill up and only lasts an hour each time.
And of course I drink plenty of hot drinks.
I need some good thick socks, like bed ones, winter ones. I mean REALLY thick, but i can't seem to find any. All that are labelled as "thick" socks, are the type I wear anyway lol
My water bottle is about 15yrs old, maybe that's why it sucks and only lasts for an hour? Are they better now a days?

Thinsulate is your friend in cold weather. Google the item of clothing you need with the word: "Thinsulate" in front of it and you can build your warm wardrobe from there. |
