My landlord, neighbor, brother-in-law and myself dug our homes out. We got a good 4 to 6 inches of snow here, on top of what we already had. Same amount here .. then freezing rain. T'was a fun drive this morning heading out to a see a good friend of mine, then coming home in freezing rain! LOL |

People need to learn to slow down, as far as I'm concerned in bad weather conditions.
Even today, while out and about in it all, I see people passing me, doing 80 kms. an hour, when the roads are bad, thinking they're invincible. They're not. This is what causes accidents in this bad weather.
Me, I drive slowly. If the guy behind me doesn't like, he's welcome to pass ... I could care less.
I take my time, I get from point A to point B, safely.

We were in the single digits with snow, sleet and ice this a.m., @thecaptainstable .
And we never got out of the low 20's all day.
And sadly, I just found out a neighbor was killed in an auto accident this morning. 
They were warning drivers if they didn't have to go out, to stay home. The roads were treacherous. |
