Thank you so much for making those changes! I really appreciate that, and both the reply and the new kill notice are working as intended. I have not tested a new deceased image but I will soon and let you know if there are any issues.
However, in my current testing I have discovered a rather major bug in 0.1.5 When editing a post in a thread with a spawn attached there is no longer a save button in the lower right. This makes it impossible to edit posts in a thread with a spawn, which is pretty major.
I've downgraded back to 0.1.4 for now.

Version 0.1.5.1 has fixed the issue. Thank you for the lightning-fast update.
I see it is possible to reference the #user# in the thread dead note. Is there a way to reference the creature what was just defeated? I tried #creature# and [N] but neither of those were correct.

A few more QoL requests:
1. Is it possible to set it so that players/creatures never miss their attacks?
Currently I have set the hit chance to over 100%, and though this SHOULD make players and creatures 100% accurate but it doesn't.
2. Is it possible to set a damage range for players/monsters?
Currently we can only set a maximum, but being able to define a minimum would make for more rewarding character progression, as well as more consistent damage from creatures.
3. Is it possible to set custom retreat text?
Thanks so much for your continued assistance and work on improving this plugin.

It should be possible, but give me some time as I'm snowed under with other stuff right now. Feel free to give me a nudge from to time if you think I'm taking too long.

Feel free to give me a nudge from to time if you think I'm taking too long. Just checking in to see if you've had time to work on these at all. Also, I've been testing the Deceased Image and I can't get it to work. Within a thread the monster image still displays (without any deceased image), but in the thread list there is now no image at all to show that there is a monster being fought. It looks like the newest version of the plugin has completely removed the monster image feature from the thread list.

Version 0.1.52 is now available in the library.
Added option to change the Deceased overlay image to one of your choice.
Fixed issue where the creature image would not always appear in the thread list.

Thank you for the update to the version, and the graphical fix. Have you had a chance to work on the battling changes?

I did some testing, and setting the Chance of a successful attack to 100%, and the Creature Success Rate to 150%, neither the member or the creature missed. Note that this will not work with a swarm, as the battles are worked out differently.
Currently no. I will add an option to do this in the next update.
When you retreat the creature still attacks, so you get a one of the relevant attack texts. How would a retreat text fit in and be used?

1. In rare cases the attacks still hit. I can provide examples if necessary, but through extensive usage I have seen both player and creature miss when set to 150%.
Again, this is not COMMON, and is mentioned to us by our users when it happens (as we tell them that all attacks should always hit). I would like to eliminate this possibility entirely and seeing as 150% should always hit (but doesn't) I believe there is something else at play here. Perhaps a rounding error?
I can confirm that we are not using swarms.
2. Thank you. Looking forward to it. This is definitely the most requested feature by our users. With no minimum damage for the players it makes battle VERY unpredictable. For players, being able to set a minimum % damage (as well as the current maximum %) would be ideal, as it allows them to get consistently stronger as their Tall Grass HP increases. Several times users upgrade their Tall Grass HP and then (unfortunately) roll low right off the bat, which leads annoyance.
For creatures, the ability to set them at a range would mean that I can stop relying on an average, and instead give them a more consistent, mid-range damage output.
3. Users selecting 'Retreat' are trying to end the encounter, but as the text provided is the same as when attacking they are sometimes confused as to whether the fight has ended or not. Retreat text would ideally append to the bottom of the current message so that we could say something like "You successfully escaped from the [N]!"

Just had another case of miss/hit rate not working as intended. A creature with a 0% hit rate (0% Chance of a successful attack from a player) just got hit by an attack from a player.
There is definitely something going wrong with how hit rate is calculated, because we're having hits at 0% hit rate and misses at 150% hit rate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've tested and tested, but as yet have not had an unexpected hit or miss. It is possible to be hit by the creature, but recieve no damage, is it possible you are assuming this is a miss?
