I think most of my members have reached their Max gifts for all of the people they care about. So I probably wouldn't install on my real Forums, but would definitely install on my test forum and check it out. Want to keep you interested and all that!

Installed this pre-Christmas and went down very well,will leave a review in a minute.

My question is,if l disable this soon,rather than unistall,does that mean all presents are lost, because that is the effect l want to achieve so we can start afresh next December ,or do l have to unistall? 

And if l unistall do I get the super key back?

This was a big hit on my forums. Thank you. Wanted to mention that in my profile, and I've heard at least one other person mention it, there is a gift or two that I open and see what it is and who sent it. But then the next time that I go to my profile, that present is still needing to be opened again. It never stays open. Certainly not a big deal, but thought I would mention it.

The presents in our profiles all closed back up today. I kinda thought they'd disappear entirely. I assume this means I should clear the super user key before I turn it back on next year?

Not sure what's up with presents not being able to be opened. Can't replicate that, so if you have any steps that causes it, let me know.


So something I might change next time is presents being sealed again after the year has ended. I would say this is a bug, I don't think I intended for them to be sealed again. I suppose my thought process at the time, was once Christmas was over, then forums would disable the plugin and clear the key for next Christmas.

So yeah, still room for a little improvement I think.

The plugin was designed as a yearly thing that needs to be reset before it is enabled each time by clearing the key.  I feel this is the best use of the plugin than the presents being on the profile all year.  I may consider tweaking this for those forums that do want them to always be viewed on the profile.  I shall see.

So yes, uninstall will clear everything and free up a key.

Peter, kind of upset I just now seen this. Would have loved to play with it for Christmas. That said, I think it'd be a really cool gifting option year-round, not just during December. Changeable images would be pretty nice too. Kudos for the job well done though

Difficult to replicate, couldn't even say if it was the same gift,but no big deal.

You could open them and see what it was and who sent it. Issue was when you went to your Profile the next time, that same gift was there unopened. But you could open it again. It was always the same one. It happened to me on two forums, and I know one of my members expressed the same issue. But really not a big deal.

I assumed they'd all just go away on Jan. 1. I planned and did shut the game off when they all went back to closed. I guess it would be a good option to keep them open for forums that want them viewed all year round. I know I'd still shut the game down on Jan. 1 regardless.

A strange bug.  Will definitely look into that before Christmas this year.
