Typography and recommended fonts?

Now I don't know which to choose, haha. I think I am not too fond of the 'single story a' for Poppins (I don't mind the 'single story g'). I think Lato is my favourite out of those.

Roboto Condensed is my fav nice.
I like Dosis as well, provided that you don't have too many huge font sizes (I think it looks nicer smaller, but your mileage may vary).
Open Sans and Roboto are good too.

Other fonts I enjoy:
Yanone Kaffeesatz (has some legibility issues for lowercase k's)
Open Sans Condensed (i like narrow fonts ok ;x)
Montserrat
Pavanam
Pontano Sans

I don't know anything about popular fonts (I just use whatever looks good), but I saw a forum last week that was using 11px bold italic Impact as their font.

So my advice would be to not do that.
