Hi -- a member with administrative powers accidentally deleted himself. He has re-registered with the same name, but his profile now shows zero posts and all his old threads and posts show him as a non-member. Is there any way to reinstate his previous membership? Thank you.

Hello nowdocking. Unfortunately there isn't anyway to reinstate his membership, sorry.

Hello nowdocking. Unfortunately there isn't anyway to reinstate his membership, sorry. Don't mean to steal this thread, but as it's "resolved" can I just ask if this could be done for the future, as a feature request? I am guessing many people have at some point or another deleted themselves (for any number of reasons: try cure their addiction, anger etc). Surely a way to get it back, you must supply the email you had with that account + the password, and maybe something else? I would have suggested IP (register using the same) but that might not be a good idea, because you may have moved and started a new life else where, or whatever.. I dunno. But yeah, could this be added to V6 maybe? I am sure others would love this idea too.

I can definitely see this being an admin feature or a paid feature for Forums.net An admin can go into the Members section and there'll be an area for deleted/past accounts. From there, they can reinstate the member

I don't foresee us adding the option to reverse the deletion of an account on ProBoards, but I could see Forums.net receiving this feature if it were ever considered.
