Thank you so much, Tumbleweed ! I get it, I think. So, it would only be used when one wants a particular post to have an opaque background, not a code that affects the whole board. What a great way to make a "post" special! Thanks again for taking the time to answer my question.
*Hugs* Violette You actually could use it to affect the whole board or anything that needs takes a background but yes, what I posted before you first posted is just used to pretty up posts. I think some administrators like to make posts that are stickied on their forum, like rules or rp plots and such, just more attractive.

Funny story actually, I found a shade of color that actually works better for the background than an opaque fade would have... But thanks so much for the help, Tumbleweed! I'll have to come back to this when I want that code again!
