Do you want the "banned" text as a group? Because there is a way to single out accounts that are banned without placing them in a group.

I'm preparing something now to help answer that for all of them. Be with you shortly.
I already have the Barring/Banning system set up in Groups. I've tested it an it seems to work great, so I think I'll stay with Groups. Every one of these is a Member Group already. I hope that answers your question.

Let me know exactly how you want this to appear (colours, font size, etc) and I'll whip something up!

In part!
My question was about the CSS however; I presume you know what CSS classes are? If not I can explain further!

Thanks. You could explain it if you want to. That would probably help me understand what is happening, and maybe even help me make alterations to things like background, font color, etc., if I cared to at some point.

OK so. CSS if you don't know stands for Cascading Style Sheet. This is what governs what stylistic effects each part of your forum has.
CSS has something called selectors; selectors, as their name suggests, instructs the CSS to select a specific element (part) of the HTML and apply visual effects to it. For what you are wanting to do, we will be working with classes.
Classes are defined as class=" " for any element, with the blank space in between the quotation marks being replaced with the class name, or names.
<div class="mp-group-banner Strike Three"> $[user.group.name] </div>
In the above example, we have declared three classes to the CSS (marked in red, blue, and green, respectively): in CSS, if you have a space between class names, that tells the CSS it is two separate classes. This is why "mp group banner" is spaced out with dashes, as dashes do not indicate that they are a different class.
What this CSS states is: the text I marked in red: apply the CSS styles for the class "mp-group-banner" the text I marked in blue: apply additional CSS / any overriding CSS for the class "Strike" the text I marked in green: apply any additional CSS / overriding CSS for the class "Three"
Since, as the name suggests, the styles are Cascading, the class "Three" will override any declarations for "mp-group-banner" and "strike"
(I suspect, however, you intended to make "Strike Three" as one phrase, so it should be "Strike-Three" instead)
Now the reason in my opening example that I used two class names (<div class="mp-group-banner administrator">) was because of this combining ability.
I want the class mp-group-banner to dictate the base look for the banner (in this case, light blue with black text in the default theme font). However, for the administrator group, I may want to change that to be a purple background instead, so I'd use the administrator class in conjunction with the mp-group-banner class to do so, like this:
.mp-group-banner { background-color: #ADD8E6; color: #000; }
.mp-group-banner .administrator { background-color: #FF0000; }
So now, all instances of .mp-group-banner will have a light blue background, unless the class also specifies that it is part of the administrator class, in which case it will instead have a red background. Notice that I did not change the text colour -- this will leave it black in both cases; in other words, you can only specify the parts you want to add and/or override, rather than repeating identical CSS.
My question for you was: would you like to keep those class names you specified (I will change them to exclude spaces, however, as explained above), and are there any differences you would like between the different groups?

Class names being mp-group-banner, or the Member Group names? The Member Group names are the actual Names of each Member Group.
Are you saying that the Vaping Blips Moderator would need to be renamed to Vaping-Blips-Moderator?
And what do you mean by "are there any differences you would like between the different groups?"?
Oh, you mean different colors? I think not. They can all be the same... even my Admin doesn't need a red background for the text.

The class names. If I meant the group names, I would have said group names.
HOWEVER since you don't want ANY differences between the different groups (it doesn't have to be different colours only, it could literally be ANY aesthetic differences -- font size, colour, letter spacing, anything aesthetic!) then you don't need to worry about class names :P

I've been looking into MP Background/Color Plugins, but the ones I've looked at so far have either very little or zero support these days. So I'm wondering if while were looking at setting up banners, could the entire MP area be about the same color as the banner? You know, making the entire MP look more like these?...
This is a nice shade of blue at the username, but it gets lighter around the Avatar image. And the banner doesn't necessarily need to wrap around like that, but could the whole MP, short of the Avatar, be the same color? Of the two shown here, I like the coloring of the first one (jj2) the best.
Something like this (for everyone, short of the banner)...
If not, then don't worry about it.

Hello Kami, I have a question. I was using an account that I created named Testing to check some things about Member Groups. One of them was testing the Barring/Banning system that is set to work by Exceptions. I used "Testing" to make a post in the Sandbox. Then I logged in as Admin and placed Testing in the "Strike One" group. The user was effectively Barred from the entire forum by putting it in the Strike One group, but the Mini Profile did not show 1 Black Star nor the banner that is setup to display Strike 1 - Barred. The MP looks like this...
Would this be because Testing is a new user with only one post in the Sandbox, where the Post Count has been disabled? And if so, will the Avatar Banner system you are working on for me override that and display the MP like this?...
(Instead of saying "New Member", it should probably say "Strike One" because of the Group, but I'm not certain. I edited this image a lot, but I forgot about that part.)
I'm asking because there is one person who would be immediately Banned if he created an account. The Ban system works on the same Member Group configuration as the entire Barring/Banning that is set up via Exceptions. If he ever creates and account, I want it known that he was Banned. There's a very long history of his argumentative and antagonizing ways, so I created the Barring/Banning system with him in mind (because another Admin wanted him to have access). When he was told (in another forum) that he could have access to everything but one thread, he got hateful, so now he would be immediately Banned. My testing today showed me that I could bar/ban someone, but the MP does not always show the effects of being placed in a Group. Knowing the answer would allow me to test my entire Member Group setup.
Thanks in advance,
Craig .

I've logged in to Testing a few times and the post count is 5 now (in the Sandbox) and I still can't get the account for Testing's MP to display the Strike Three member group (this time) or Strike 3 - Barred to show up in the Banner place.
Is there some kind of minimum post requirement that is configured by default which may be the reason for this? I have the Post Count set to 5 posts to get 2 stars, and that works OK, but they are Sky Blue instead of Black when Testing is in a Barred group. Just tried another account that I made a long time ago. 100%VG has 12 posts and the Barring system doesn't show up on its MP either. The Barring works well, just not the Groups, Stars, and Banners Me thinks something is rotten in the state of Denmark. Guess I have to wait for your Avatar Banner Templates.
I'm not being impatient about the Templates or your help. You've been fantastic!!! I'm just curious about what's going on. I don't want to work with an account that doesn't belong to me, so I'm kinda stuck.
Wishing you the best, and I hope you're having a great day.
