There were two options listed... with or without the post rank name. May I have the option at some point to see both, please? And start with this...

The "administrator" group (for instance) has a fix number of stars but the supplier group should go off of post rank, we can make it so the "administrator" group uses the member group stars while the supplier group shows the post rank stars instead.

Well, I don't have a way to do that. I can write the template for you and you can see if you like it or not.

Doing that gave me (Administrator) two rows of stars with 5 red and 3 sky blue below them. It gave both Admin a single row of sky blue stars (in the proper count for each lady), and it gave the Supplier a single row of sky blue stars (in the proper count). And I do see that the Group Name has been added below the Username.

But the Mini Profiles are still messed up. They are crammed against the far left wall/edge. There is no border around them, and there is no background color.

So I'd like to ask if Administrator, Admin, and any other Moderator could have only the red stars, and that they be displayed in the number count assigned in the Member Groups table? Or are there any options for everyone to have only one row of stars?

OK here's what I'm going to need you to do. We are going to do this one step at a time, and you check back in with me once it's accomplished, and then we will move on to the next step. During this time, please refrain from asking "Well what about X" until the process is complete, so that I don't get lost trying to address multiple issues at a time.

1. Reset the mini profile template and save.

Let me know when this is finished, and let me know whether or not that fixes the first problem of the mini profiles not appearing properly -- JUST the mini profile itself, not the content within.

Good, thank you for reporting back. I'm going to leave the avatar banners for last since they are an addition to the mini profile (which I will abbreviate as "mp" from now on, since I'm lazy and predict I'll be using it a lot) rather than a modification of content that is already there.

Now, we're going to try the stars bit next, specifically for the "Administrator" group and the "Supplier" group. Please confirm the EXACT group names (case sensitive) included in the admin group (iirc you said there were two?) and Supplier group.

Exact Group name - stars to be assigned

Administrator - 5 red stars

Admin - 5 red stars

(not mentioned before, so I can follow that code later and do these myself)

Global Moderator - 4 red stars

Vaping Blips Moderator - 3 red stars

Moderator - 3 red stars

Supplier - stars based on post count (sky blue is OK)

Is this what you meant?

There are other groups that get treated the same as Supplier, listed in order...

The Barred/Banned Groups are:

Strike One - 1 black star

Strike Two - 2 black stars
Strike Three - 3 black stars
Banned - 5 black stars

Find the following:

Be very careful when editing. If you edit too much you will break the templates. What you should be replacing are lines 5-12.

Save, and report back when it's done. If something breaks please do not attempt to fix it yourself. This, theoretically, should show JUST post rank for the "supplier" group and JUST the group stars for "Administrator" and "Admin" groups.

If it does not, let me know what behaviour you are seeing instead (please be concise, I do not need a long paragraph, just tell me what you see instead of what I described).

Excellent! Good to hear. Okay, so now I'm going to have you add in the other groups.

So this line:

I need you to add the red to include the other groups you specified will be having a fixed amount of stars based on their group (I've added them here in red):

{if $[user.group.name] == "Administrator" || $[user.group.name] == "Admin" || $[user.group.name] == "Global Moderator" || $[user.group.name] == "Vaping Blips Moderator" || $[user.group.name] == "Moderator"}

Do that, then let me know if those user groups have the correct star arrangement. Theoretically, this should show ONLY the group stars for these groups, and NOT the post ranks.

While this is of little reassurance for you, there are no members in any of the added groups who have actually made a post, so I cannot see the results you want me to tell you about. The good news is that nothing else changed.

That's not good actually. The aforementioned groups are not dependent on post count. You should be seeing their group stars regardless of how many posts they have made.
