I just love the different designs this mushroom variety has on its tops.

I have a photo of a small variety similar to yours, but right now, I can't find it. So I'll stick with these. As you can see, when they start to flatten and open completely, they develop a ruffled edge (far left, bottom).

I may sound weird but, I love fungus. lol

There's so many different kinds, so many pretty ones as well and others leave me wondering what the heck are those, like these one to which is what I spy in your post ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥.

I've looked and my friends have looked even pro photographers are baffled.

What kind of fungus is this? In real life they are bubbles coming from the crack of a dead tree laying on its side, one photographer says that when they cut the tree down fungus formed there when sap was coming out of the tree.

@linette ~ I love 'shrooms, too. They're very interesting subjects for photography, hence, why you and I like taking shots of them. Your last large grouping is a perfect example of that.


Caajscot (John) , those two dogs poking their heads through the spokes of the gate are, hopefully, ok and didn't need rescuing to get safely out of them.

Lol ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥, them two dogs are 12 months old Huskies that live up the road and they are both ok, they would stick there heads out of the gate and when they spotted me or Liz walking up the road they would start howling as they knew me and Liz had doggie treats we would all ways give them.
