I'm afraid that's the only real way of doing it, otherwise the images in the mini-profiles would not be visible to other members.

Something like this: Color UBBC in status but instead of letting you insert [ color=] it lets you use [ img] to insert an image in your status.

I could be greater if it recognizaed automatically the image link and it put it between [ img] [ /img]

From what I understand about that plugin from the write-up, in already allows you to use [img][/img] tags.

Have you tried it?

I had already tried it with [ img]url[ /img] and [ img src="url"] and nothing.

Here ya go.. Try this.

If you place an image URL into the status field, this plugin will convert it into an image within the mini-profiles.
