Can these images be fixed please?

Please? I hope it isn't an image where the larger it gets the more blurred   it is. Thank you.

It's currently 400x300px.

I've doubled to 800x600px.

It has lost some quality, .gif images usually do so, more than .png images.

And yours is a .gif image.

The only images that won't "get blurrier" when you enlarge them are vector images. A vast majority of the images you find online are not vector images, and therefore by definition will be blurrier / more pixelated when enlarged. (If you want a more in-depth explanation that shows why vector images won't get blurry versus why non-vectors [aka rasterised] images will, let me know).

If what Luv has done is too pixelated for you, let me know as I may have a resource that can sorta fix it. It's usually used for hand-drawn artwork, but it might work the same way for a photo.

No, not at all, Kami.

I simply quickly enlarged it and posted myself that it's pixelated and blurry.

And I knew it would be since it is a .gif that is already pixelated in the smaller version.

But that was as far as I could take it.

I've no time to clean it up and wouldn't have responded if the request was to repair the image.

So no apologies are necessary.

It looks like your banner height is set to 300 px, so the image is automatically being re-sized. Go to you admin panel, and under themes and advanced styles & css, the visual editor tab should have this option:



Adjust it to the height it needs to be.

According to the GOAYB thread for this forum, it's gone in a completely different direction and the default theme is now a generic fall one so... it's probably not needed anymore.

when its a simple matter of resizing images
you can use this simple website
ezgif.com/resize

just a tip , so you can get things done quicker, that way you do not have to wait for someone else to do it
