Friend Plugin Needs Your Ideas

A little late to this party, but I just wanted to say I love this idea. It seems you covered in your original post everything I would have suggested though, so I'm useless. I love this idea and would love to see how it turns out. Going to try that Beta out and see if I have any ideas.

No clue if you're still working on this but was going through my profile notifications and was tagged in this, so putting my 2 cents in --

For my site, I wouldn't use this for member-to-member friendships, but I would use it for character relationships. So if my character meets someone else's characters and they dislike each other, I'd list them as an enemy here, or if they were lovers, I'd put that, etc. The capabilities I'd need in order to use this plugin (no clue which of them are already included) would be:
- able to completely customize how it looks in the profile because I have completely recoded the profiles from scratch and would want to incorporate it in a way that fits my new profiles nicely
- ability to name what type of relationship it is, not just friends
- links to the threads they share(d) together
- able to add a small summary to the friendship so it might say "Friends: Bob doesn't quite trust Rolf yet, but they are beginning to grow a relationship and hope with time that a true bond can form" type of thing, so they can expand on their thoughts of the other person or whatever else they wanna put there. I'd let 'em do their own thing lol
- perhaps a number total of the threads they are in/have been in together, too

When I'm more free in time, I'll check out if any of these features are already in there! But in the meantime, here's my opinion since it was asked for a while ago hahah

Having troubles getting this to work on a custom profile. Set my jquery selector as #customfriendslist and used
<div id="customfriendslist"></div>
and it's not showing up. Any ideas?  Am I being dense and missing something?
