I can probably add an option to allow the signatures to be collapsed.

Hullo, we just paid to for extra space to be able to use this but we are having trouble getting a href's to encapsulate images. Whenever a signature is edited while the plugin is active all linked images get split into a string of 'a href' plain text beside the image they are supposed to be linking; and the closing a tags don't appear.

This only happens when this plugin is active at the time of a signature edit.

Also, sometimes it straight up clears everything in the signature and replaces it with the plain text of the user's id number.

Thoughts on how this can be fixed?

Never mind! I thought of something just after posting and it worked. The plugin does not like relative links, nor does it like short links -- which're kinda necessary for standard PB signature sizes.

You have to use absolute links for this plugin to work with them proper. Could be an improvement if this was fixed, but at least we have a solution.

Could you please PM me a couple of examples of links that do not work, and I'll see what I can do.

Any relative link. So a link excluding the 'forumname.proboards.com' part of the url.

And I did not keep any short links, but anything tinyurl or things like that didn't work. But with this plugin those aren't really needed anymore so not really too worried about 'em.

is there a chance that this can be made to work with video tags...! i feel sad that my users have to choose between smaller signatures with video and larger videos without hah (a few have had to choose between this so far, and i'm not sure which to "side" with)

I'll look into it.. But I'm not going to promise anything.

I purposely left out videos for the simple fact that to allow them complicates things somewhat. Videos from different sites sometimes require different methods to post them, and most are displayed in an iFrame, which can complicate things as far as security is concerned.

Which hosts are you looking to allow? Just YouTube? Or others?

Strange.. It works fine for me. Do you have any plugins that change the text of your forum? Or are you using the censored words list?

Here's a corrected copy of your signature, so you can replace your current one with this and it 'should' work.
