[Todge is taking over this plugin. For support / help, please visit: Support] This plugin (Music Player) has four (4) Audio Sound Inputs and five (5) Timeout Settings to control the starting time for audio sounds. The following applies to this plugin: 1. Audio sounds will play automatically (see Timeout Settings) in the background and will only be heard on the Main page. 2. When leaving the Main page and decide to return, the first Audio Sound 1 will start playing with Timeout Settings in place. 3. There are no Stop / Start / Pause / Mute buttons to control the audio sounds and because of this, it is highly recommended that members/guests be informed of this prior to enabling this plugin! (see Note below) Note: For your members/guests convenience, a Title Bar has been added with a text notice warning that background sounds will start within 10, 20, 30, 40, or 60 seconds, depending on the Timeout Settings input. Supports .mp3 .ogg and .wav audio formats. Audio Sounds: (for downloading files) www.soundjay.com/Audio Converter: (for mp3/wav/ogg files) online-audio-converter.com/Host Website: (for uploading files) cloudinary.com/To test your audio sound format URL file is to copy/paste it directly into your browsers address bar and hit enter. If you don't hear anything, then your audio sound format file is not supported. Note: This plugin would be great for sounds during seasonal holidays. Enjoy! Version 3.0.1 Beta Plugin Updates: 09/19/2018 - Complete rewrite and added start time input for audio files. Added Title Bar for showing start time input including text notice. Minor bug fix. 12/20/2017 - Major change to description input. (Special thanks to SailorEffinMoon for bringing this to my attention.)

Could you add a setting where music is turned off by default since there will be members who won't want the music playing at all? Where does the player show up? I haven't seen it on the homepage. Thanks.

Hello again Timebomb007Good to hear. I'm going to play around with this plugin code (Music Player) after the holidays and see if I can come up with adding a Mute / Enable sound button.

Do you have a audio site that offers direct links to the mp3 files I have that you'd recommend that I can use for the plugin?

Hello again Sarah Checked many websites that have sounds but sadly they do not offer direct links. Having said, suggest that you to find a site that offers free audio sound downloads. For hosting your download sounds, you may want to visit this site: (sign up for free service) cloudinary.com/Before you use this site, it is recommended that you read the FAQ's: cloudinary.com/faqOnce you have signed up, you can upload these media type files: Images - Videos & Audio - Files Any and all sound files, when uploaded, will be placed within the Videos & Sounds area automatically. To upload any files from the main page (Dashboard) just click on the Media Library tab which will bring you to this: (You can either Drop files there or Select File for uploading) Example: Once you upload a file, then click on Videos & Audio tab which will show your uploaded file(s). Example: Now click on the file (sound) image and it will now show this: Example: You now want to copy ( red) the URL link and then paste it in Audio Sound 1 and from there continue to place other audio sounds if need be. Hope this helps.... Note: make sure the audio files that you download are not Copyrighted.

good job dude,
I would maybe remove the "Select audio format" and simply get the format by doing some string manipulation. In my experience always give people the least amount of decisions to make.
For example they might select one format(mp3) and have two different playable types(mp3/ogg) etc in the links

This plugin (Music Player) has one (1) setting for Selecting Audio Formats and four (4) audio fields to enter the URL of those audio sound files. Note: All audio sounds will run in the background and will only be heard on the Main page. If at anytime you leave the Main page and return, the first Audio Sound 1 will start playing. Audio formats supported: MP3 - (IE - Chrome - Safari - Opera) OGG - (Chrome - Firefox - Opera) WAV - (Chrome - Edge - Opera - Safari) To test your Audio Format URL file is to copy/paste it directly into your browsers address bar and hit enter. If you don't hear anything, then your Audio Format file is not supported. Note: This plugin would be great for sounds during seasonal holidays. Version 2.0.0 Beta Plugin Download Plugin from PB's LibraryUpdates: 12/20/2017 - Major change to description input. (Special thanks to SailorEffinMoon for bringing this to my attention.) How do i get a url? Also can u make it so i can play 25 songs instead of 4? thanks
