I'm in Michigan now. Actually it's where I was born and grew up. I've never bought a new car. For about twenty years, I had a company car so I had a new one provided for me every two or three years. But not on my dime. It's probably a much different mindset when you own it yourself. I must have made Al angry. There was light rain falling, but for a couple of minutes it turned to snow. Michigan? Cool -the Mitten State! Yeah, this it's very rare for me to get a new car as I put so few miles on them, but after nearly 10 years it was time ----unfortunately I am such a Luddite with some things that I can't figure out half of what this car can do. The salesman is no help since he figures everyone knows how to memorize a million different accessories and how to run a stereo that works off of your phone (time to get out the hand puppets for me!) instead of just knobs and a CD player. The book (bible sized is no help as I am the type of person who has to actually 'see' things to remember them). Oops, sorry for the rant and taking this thread off track. At any rate, our temps have dropped ( I think the Juncos are never going to leave even as the Robins start showing up!) below freezing and more snow is predicted for us ...a dusting or less I hope! Stop making Al angry!

Oops, sorry for the rant and taking this thread off track. Nah, the best conversations often come from tangents. This is a thread about the weather so even the on-topic replies are gonna be prone to rants about that. You need a young person to help you. Do you have a son, daughter, niece, or nephew who is in their late teens to early twenties? Or maybe a close friend who has a relative who's in that age group? The 'kids' take to that stuff like ducks take to water. Some of them are very good at explaining how to make use of tech without sounding like a textbook. At any rate, our temps have dropped ( I think the Juncos are never going to leave even as the Robins start showing up!) below freezing and more snow is predicted for us ...a dusting or less I hope! Stop making Al angry! Finally a little bit of sun here. And they tell me the temps will go up for a day or so then back to heavy chill for the weekend. Brings a slightly different meaning to the phrase Spring Has Sprung.

Mother nature can't make up her mind the past couple days.
11:30am yesterday - sunny 1:25pm yesterday - rain 2:10pm yesterday - snow 5pm yesterday - sunny 6pm yesterday - snow
Then the same today but with sun, rain, hail, snow and thunder all within a 2 hour period.

Someone named this season - 'Sprinter' (Spring/Winter) and I agree. We had measurable snow again yesterday *sigh*. So far today, just clouds but our temps are ten degrees below average for this time of year.

It is too embarrassing for me to ask my niece, plus she just rolls her eyes at my ineptitude! If I could form the question I need to be answered correctly - I would check youtube for what I need to know.

Sunny and 65 degrees. Im in Missouri and the weather has not been too spring like. I better not speak to loudly or this nice weather will turn bad. Mother Nature is skittish that way...or bipolar.

That's giggle-worthy. So of course I just had to do a google image search.
