Tip for a certain user.

Recently a user on my website has deleted his account, and his account on other websites I'm on. He also deleted me from his website. I tried to reach out to him on discord and on PM though he isn't responding. I don't know why he did this, and please, I'd like tips on what I should do.

Uh, move on. Clearly he has no desire to communicate with you whatsoever, otherwise he would have done so.  He is not obligated to give you an explanation.

So let it go. Otherwise you turn into a harasser at best, stalker at worst... and quite frankly it seems like you are already edging that line since he’s made it abundantly clear by removing himself from your forum and you from his and not responding to both DM and PM he’s not interested in explaining himself.

I mean, he's only human. It could be that he forgot about that specific aspect -- I mean, a guy I blocked literally over 10 years ago managed to contact me on a service I forgot I had an account on. I would look at whatever is most numerous & consistent about his actions -- in this case, removal of presence + ignoring you -- to determine what he wants.

Honestly, I see this question a lot and while I get the desire to understand what went wrong / for closure, the fact of the matter is people who do this have already decided they want nothing to do with you. Therefore, they need to be the ones to re-open the channels of communication, not you. You should not force your presence on someone who has made multiple efforts to distance themselves from you, no matter how sucky it feels.

I'm sorry this happened, but honestly if this person doesn't care to give you an explanation, then whatever friendship you two had is not important to him any longer.

I don’t think there is any further need for speculation. Simply put, the person in question has disappeared. Unless the OP knows their personal details and has sufficient concern as to contact the proper authorities, there is no point in filing a police report for a missing person.

Secondly, I happen to know the person in question as they messaged me privately to confirm their identity relating to this thread, so their account was not compromised.

Since this is a dispute between two members of this Support forum, I don’t think it’s appropriate to continue this discussion.
