Is there a way to make this remain open as a default? Once you enabled this plugin, it then becomes the default (open) until you either disable it or remove it. Ill give it another try and see if it still does the same thing.

I may have missed read your inquiry so allow myself to try this again.
Once that plugin is installed, click on the Edit tab below Permissions.
You would then select to who you want to view this plugin.
Example:
Everyone - (viewable to everyone)
Members & Staff - (viewable to Members & Staff only)
Staff (viewable to Staff only)

I had a guest ask where his button was since its hidden so I was wondering if it could remain open somehow? Hehe apologies I may have been to vague with my question now that I look at it. Oo

For now it will remain open until one either refreshes or leaves the main page to another area of your forum.
