It's been a long time for me...

I've been a long time Proboards users since it was still V4. I even recall the transition to 4.5, which was glorious, my favourite era. It took me awhile to adjust to V5, but in the end I have come to like it.

I have been here since October 2 of 2006. Man, I was so young then... a young teen. I've experienced a lot ran many kinds of forums. You know when you are young, you kinda go forum making crazy. It's only been recently since I got back into the forum-running scene, and I feel with all my past experiences, I can be a better admin.

The general board here has changed over the years, not as active as it once was, but still kicking. I have good memories here. I've rarely changed my display name. I started as my username, ImpactOfReason3, before transitioning to Short of Daybreak which I am sure you veterans know me the most by. Now I am Candle, because I love candles and I use this on most forums now.

I'm just a newbie, relatively speaking. A day shy of six months. GT might not be busy, but I enjoy chatting with the folks here as much as anyone, anywhere. They tend to be open minded and willing to look at a question from all angles. The people here have welcomed me, perhaps more than I deserve.

I registered on February 12th, 2016 but I have been using Proboards for far longer on other forums. One of them I have been a member since 2009 so my Support profile is really young by comparison.

I have been here longer than some and shorter than others lol, I joined on April 8th, 2015 so it's over 3 years now.

Strange really as I only joined as I could not gain access to a forum I was a member of and was trying to find out why, then I had a surf around in PB, saw the games and GT section and that was me and I have been here since, and forever more I would imagine until the good Lord above tells me otherwise.
