Hello there @majority ! Figured i'd stop in and throw my thoughts out there! Here are my thoughts;
First Impressions: Not too bad, I can instantly look at your forum and tell that it's a Warriors forum, which is good, because the first 30's of opening a site is really going to make or break people looking further. You definitely start off on the right foot. However, I do have some suggestions / notes;
The Banner: I'm not sure if it's my screen resolution, or something of the like, but you're banner image repeats for me (doesn't span the entire top like it seems you intended it too). The Leaves: This might be more personal, I may be bias, but I can't say i'm a fan. I remember animated things like that scared me away for one or two sites a while back (when I had a worse computer / slower Internet) because it made the forums load quite a bit slower. Just something to consider, not a huge deal though. Home Page: Once again, this may be a 'just me' kind of thing, but i'm not a huge fan of being greeted with a 'home' page that throws statistics and the such at me when i'm just opening a forum for the first time. I feel like providing guests with the easiest access to the information (plot, history, updates, etc) they're looking for, in the most direct / simplest way possible is always the best option. I've always thought about it this way, if you have someone who's never used Proboards before, they may not even consider the effort of looking through other links when they get stuck on this 'home' tab (yea, I know that there's a tab clearly labeled forum, but this is the internet, instant gratification's playground).
Other: You're site doesn't seem to have a plot (that I've found in my rather brief digging), so I can't review the story or anything of the sorts, but I do have a few thoughts after digging a bit farther:
Categories: I think that checking out this post and using it to remove that unsightly "board / threads / posts / last post" row above your boards might be something that'll make the sight look a bit cleaner. Old / New Icons: I'm not a fan of the folders, so I'd suggest either changing the images to something Warriors related (paw prints, leaves, etc), or using this handy post to stop the images from displaying (I think there's a way to delete that entire row of the boards pretty easily if that's something you want to look into). I can't find the exact directions on how to do so, but I recommend something similar for the information center icons. Boards: They seem well organized and pretty straight forward. For a Warrior's Rp I definitely recommend some detailed board descriptions for the in character boards (along with an image // but an image by itself isn't a deal breaker either). It actually does a lot for spurring creativity when it comes to people posting in the boards. Gives them a jumping off point!
All in all, for a new-ish site, you're doing a pretty good job so far! Keep up the good work and i'm sure you'll have an active / bustling forum in no time at all!
Cheers! - Maest
