I have members that made multiple messages for the same subject on a sub-board. I need to combine them... Such as: User XXX has 5 posts that need to be put into 1 [Name: XXX Renown] User ABC has 4 posts that need to be put under a different one [Name: ABC Experience] User XYZ has 10 posts that need to be moved under 1 [Name: XYZ Journal] I cannot delete them, the information is necessary to a Roleplaying Game I run. I just need to move them, and if I move them it only offers me to move them to a subboard not under individual threat posts. Can anyone give me help on this please?

Sounds to me like you are looking to merge them into existing threads. Am I right? You can select the posts you need to merge, go to actions, choose moderate, move, selected posts. You'll be asked where you want them moved to & have the option to merge them into an existing thread. Choose that option & then choose which thread you want to merge them into. Just select the board & you will see a list of threads in that board. Simply choose the one you want & click move post at the bottom of the screen You can even send a PM to the poster to tell them if you need to

Steve,
I attempted this, and tried to move them all again. Even with Admin access it says "Move Thread" and then "Entire Thread" but after that it does not allow me to merge it with another thread. Just move it to another subboard or board. It doesn't break it down to the individual threads so I can combine 1 users multiple threads into one (GG for people who don't follow directions).

You need to select the individual posts & opt to merge the selected posts into an existing thread. If all the posts in a thread are what you want to move, then don't choose the move thread option. Choose the move all posts option. That'll take you into the admin panel where you can choose a thread as I described earlier

Hi antiquitystIt sounds like you're using the Actions dropdown, either at the top of a thread list for a board or at the top of a thread. That will only move the entire thread. That isn't what you want in this case. You need to open the thread, so you can see all posts. Then click on the options icon that's to the right in top of a post. That will allow you to move an individual post. You can select more than one post, then move all selected posts, or just move one post at a time. There's more information in this article: support.proboards.com/thread/460298/moving-thread-post in the Help Guide which provides additional information. In this case, the information is in the bottom half of the article, starting from To select specific posts to move from a thread
