Hi, this is just a question (not support) is there any chance of getting better admin tools? Thanks

Hi, add staff post background colour such a yellow which attracts attention. A bit like but not discourse. Thanks for always helping I have no idea what this part of your post was meant to do. [img alt="this" style="max-width:100%;" src="https://www.google.com/search?q=Discourse+moderator+action+post&tbm=isch&hl=en&chips=q:Discourse+moderator+action+post&client=ms-android-sonymobile&prmd=ivsn&hl=en&ved=2ahUKEwj5j9ibs9XhAhUVBRQKHSlIDkEQ3VZ6BAgBEBc&biw=360&bih=512#imgrc=GVWnnCgL96pgaM"] There's a plugin that pretty much handles basic default styling in posts. Post Styles By GroupYou could assign all your staff groups to a style where they have a specific background color and/or background image and/or text color. Personally would would find that a bit overbearing, especially since it's basically thrust upon them and they won't see the effect while in the editor, just after the post has been made. But that's my personal opinion. As for me, I choose to keep this in my default BBCode in my profile settings: [span style="background-color:#FFFF00;"][/span] It saves me a bit of typing when I need to highlight something. But I only use that to focus on a section of a post.

Additionally, if you would like this process to automatically apply to all admin posts as a whole, or in specific boards, etc, the layout templates are fully editable to allow for that, such as the admin posts [ on my test forum]

Kami I don't understand how to change it. Is there any way that you can show me? Thanks.

Another option that I have used (I use the Post Styles By Group plugin (that Retread linked above) now, though) was to edit my profile ( Profile -> Edit Profile -> Settings (tab), scroll down to Posting Default (this ONLY works if your posting default is BBCode - if it is not, then please disregard) and put this in the Default BBCode box: [div style="color: #6996ff; background-color: #e5d1ff;"]
[/div]
However, the thing that you would have to remember each and every time (if you use this), is that you must click in the post (when creating a new thread or using the full reply box - does not work in the quick reply box, as far as I know) to set the cursor position (since it will default to before the opening div) to insure that the text you type falls between the opening and closing tags. Also note that I had deliberately placed two empty lines between the opening and closing tags - as that made it easier to click in between them to place the cursor. I will defer to Kami to instruct on how to do her method, as it is beyond my knowledge. P.S. You had tagged Kami wrong, oj2021. You tagged @kami when it should be @kamiyakaoru.

I would be happy to, but please post in the Templates board, as this board is not intended for technical help/support (:
Feel free to tag me (@kamiyakaoru) when you do and I will answer as soon as I am able.
