Brave Galaxy is a new space fantasy RP that uses a combination of character statistics and freeform writing to facilitate writing. BG is semi-literate to literate in writing style, however there is no minimum or maximum word count, and the site has just launched the first plotline. While BG is loosely based off of the mangas Fairy Tail and Eden's Zero, no experience with either of these materials is required as the world is for the most part original. BG's community comes from the late Fairy Tail Guild roleplay site, which has existed for over eight years.

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to check this thread out. Brave Galaxy RP has been open since March 1st, 2019, and I am curious to hear what people on the outside of our community think about it. Mainly, I'm aware the rules section can be confusing for new members joining, and I will be compiling a "beginner's guide" of sorts in the near future and would like some input as to what to add or clarify in this guide. General comments on the forum are also highly appreciated

Also, I am classically bad at forum summaries and the like, so any comments/help regarding the description above or the plot summary on site would be lovely.

I really like how you have the category boards set up! The theme is also very clean and nice to look at. The Site Info tab at the top is amazing and informative.

Having a Beginner's Guide sounds like a good idea, as you can give new members important information and links to help them get started, as well as discuss some basic rules without overloading them. The Rules board alone has a lot of information to sort through that may seem overwhelming, but is also necessary, so you can pinpoint which ones to read through first to make their character and begin a roleplay--the rest they can explore on their own time.

I noticed that links to pages on the forum open up in a new tab; I'm not sure if this was done on purpose or is an aspect of the theme, but most users might prefer if they stay in the same tab to prevent having too many tabs open at once.

I just want to gush about the organization of the boards and information again because they look fabulous. I also like how you specify the in-character boards.

Thank you so much! The links are so you can click to a new page without losing your previous place where you're browsing, and I also don't know how to change that option XD

I'll probably start on a Beginner's Guide soon, currently trying to figure out what exactly to put on it :)
