Outlander RPG

So, I love the TV Show Outlander and after watching 4 Seasons, I thought it would be so fun to have an Outlander RPG. So, I'm curious if anyone might have ideas to do this and how.

One of my ideas: Set two time period settings(ex. Present time and 202 years prior). That is would be where the current plots could be. Yes, someone could have gone from present day to 205 years back, but then they would have been there 3 years prior to the current plot time.

So, any thoughts? I have started to kinda make an outline on word. I always make my outline and plot first and then make the board once I feel I'm ready to really dive in.

I don't know if you're still planning to do this, but I had a slightly similar thought for a game idea I was going to pitch for a competition on another board I'm a member of. It wasn't an outlander game, but I did plan to introduce two time periods to it, and have characters go between the time periods.

I love RPing and if you do still plan to create this I'd love to have a look when you've got something created.

But I guess mostly research.

I actual did create it, but I had no interest and ended up deleting it to try again another day. Maybe I'll try again when the series is all wrapped up or the books are finisehd

Awe, that's a shame, but I can understand that. Well if you do end up creating another one you'll have to let me know. I think a time travel type game could be quite interesting. Good luck with it though either way whatever happens.

I will. I think if I do, it will start out as just one timeline and then expand to another timeline.
