how to photo resize so that photos can be added

Have had my forum for quite a few years.  Now that Photobucket is holding its site for ransom  I am having trouble with adding photos to my forum.  Download from camera to computer...no problem.  Tried to resize to fit forum...not.  So is there a way to resize so that i can add phots to the forum.  Thanks in advance!

Try PostImage. It allows a variety of resizing options.

     Try re-sizing your images with GIMP (a free, open-source image editor) before posting/hosting them.  GIMP does have a learning curve, but there's so much you can do with it!
