I feel really silly and defeated having to ask what's surely a super simple question most kids could figure out on their own, but I've poked around for quite some time and followed the advice of several other threads and still can't seem to get this going. All I want to do in this whole entire world is change the link hover color in the main body of all posts on my forum. Since I'm going for a black/white/gray color scheme it's fairly imperative I make links more conspicuous by having them pop during a mouseover since they're currently a dark gray negligibly different from the regular text, so I thought a little color change upon hovering would be in order, perhaps even the good old overline-underline decoration during a hover. As a really basic example, on this page I simply want the links for each wrestler's name to change upon hovering: twopointnine.boards.net/thread/20/purple-pantheon-championsWhat on earth am I doing all wrong? This seems like such a basic fundamental thing, I'm shocked I can't find a really simple solution here. I feel like I'm misunderstanding the sections in the Advanced Styles & CSS or something; it intuitively seems like I should find what I'm looking for in perhaps Forum>Text Styles>Links>Hover or perhaps in Forum>Body>Containers>Content Area Containers>Text>Links or somewhere nearby, but maybe I'm just sniffing around the wrong tree completely. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi amsterdan Whenever possible I like to use the Visual Editor in Advanced Styles & CSS, but I don't see a hover option for links in posts. Here's something you can add to the bottom of your Style Sheet (Make sure you're on the desired theme and be sure to Save Changes: .posts .post .message a:hover {color:red; text-decoration:underline; background-color:lightblue;} This will affect only the links in the message body of the posts. I added a background-color which might be of interest to you, or you can just edit that part out. And of course you can choose whatever text color suits you, whether that's named, hex, or rgb.
