Make background transparent

can someone please remove the black background from the above two images? i'd like the backgrounds to be transparent and just have the logo show.

this wouldn't work very well due to how the logo is designed.

may I suggest you use a version of the logo that's already transparent?

as an FYI if you're looking for logos please be aware that:

1. you can usually find a transparent version of the logo if you add "transparent" or "png" to the end of your search (these transparent images show up with a grey checkered "background" to indicate transparency)

2. some organisations disallow the usage of their logos (sports teams are notorious for this) even in personal / non commercial use to make sure no one is mistaken to be part of their organisation. use copyrighted images with caution.
